1996 Open Division Brazillian "Vale Tudo" Champion
A Brazilian 8th degree coral belt jiu-jitsu master. Trained by Rickson Gracie, earned his black belt graduation in 1986. Pereira is known as one of the brazilian grappling style defenders in vale tudo, with no defendant matches barred throughout 80's, 90's and 2000's. He built one of the strongest jiu-jitsu teams of that era, developing athletes such as Leo Dalla, Otavio "Tatá" Duarte, Paulo Guillobel, Wander Braga, Luiz "Guigo", and much more.

My legacy is a continuation of the path he traced in the martial arts history.
